Pleated leather trend

By now I am sure the pleated leather trend has been seen everywhere (I am late again). When it comes to fashion, I am definitely the "play it safe" type. I am not someone who would run out and get the latest, the most trendy pieces as soon as they hit the shelves. I tend to wait, watch and consider then re-consider several times before I "timidly" try one or two pieces myself. This beautiful burgundy faux leather pleated skirt is from ASOS. This is my first time ordering from them and so far so good. I ordered three pieces and ended up returning one and keeping two. I will show you my second piece in my future post. The shipping is fast (considered it's coming from the UK). Let's see if the return process is just as good before I jump on the buying wagon :)
ASOS petite skater pleather skirt in wine (here), H&M blazer (old, scored for $10), DV by Dolce Vita booties (probably my last time wearing them since I ordered a replacement, will show you soon), and Proenza Schouler plum medium bag (I got my from HgBagOnline) and Lindberg sunnies.
Have a wonderful weekend. It's time to bust out my tights as my legs are freezing going bare!

    I'm just like u when it comes to very trendy pieces, I wait & reconsider but if I know the piece is more than a trend & is going to be timeless then I get it ;) Love the skirt, I can see it being worn many ways & many times!

      I'm glad there's someone like me too! For me personally it's because I don't have the "perfect body" to pull everything off so I have to be careful when choosing trendy pieces! Oh and of course there's that budget issue too haha :)

    I've been thinking I need to get more skirts like this - think they are called A line skirts? As they will come in handy for summer! :)

    I think it is a brilliant idea Mica. Skirt is so much more comfortable than pants in the hot summer days! A line skirt is probably the most flattering design haha :)
