Back to basic

As much as I adore colours, sometimes I just want to go back to basics, aka, black and white. This is actually a dress, although it does look like a two piece assemble. I have been feeling rather bloated lately (must be all the late night snacks....omg!) so all I wanted to wear is something comfy! The waistline is elastic which is perfect to hide my "less than perfect body" at the moment.
Speaking of figure, I must get back to my more healthy eating habit. We all know it does not feel great to be on your "heavier" weight. Tell me, what do you do when you need to trim down while remain eating healthy?

Black and white dress (gift from mum), Sam Edelman sandals, Rebecca Minkoff "made in NYC" MAC and Lindberg sunnies.
Cartier Roadster watch, bracelets from Etsy (my fav seller here)
Beautiful lotus pond
I am so in love with these Sam Edelman sandals I want to wear them everyday! (on sale here)
Thanks for reading, I hope you are enjoying your weekend :)

  3. Awww, you look so lovely girl! That polka dot skirt is simply so pretty! And that cute detail on your top is perfect. Can't forget those stylin sandals--LOVE.

Haha, we all have those bloated days. I eat massive amounts, but I run a lot too, so that's how I stay healthy and in shape. And I always try to skip the processed junk food fare. I think you're beautiful though--you definitely don't look out of shape! Good luck with everything and have a lovely weekend!

  6. You look perfect as always :) We always judge ourselves more harshly than others though.

Love that dress - really does look like two separate pieces! It's beautiful with the polka dots :) I like your bright shoes against the black and white too.

  7. I wanted to get those same Sam Edelman sandals but then opted for a completely different pair at the end. They look lovely though.

  8. The dress looks so pretty! Very nice for almost any occasion. I am not a nutrition expert but I find that eating your 5 a day consistently will definitely help reduce any bloatedness. It works for sure. Not easy for me to currently apply as there is so much food temptation in NYC (so much more than in Europe)!
