Changing colours

Living in the Pacific North West has been spoiling me of forgetting how beautiful of an environment I am constantly being surrounded by. I took a stroll during lunchtime at the small park nearby work. Saw a couple excitedly taking pictures of the leaves using their phone. I said "pretty colours eh?" They responded "oh my god, YES. We are from Florida and we have never seen trees with this colour!" I smiled and walked away. I really need to slow down and appreciate what is around me sometimes. Mother nature created so many beautiful things for us to enjoy and often we forgot to do so. My day had suddenly became more fulfilling and I went back to work with a smile on my face :)

    Couldn't agree with u more in this post! Now at my age, I'm also coming to realize more of mother nature's beauty & really appreciating it a lot more than before haha. i'm learning that taking things slow like taking advantage of those long nice walks esp in the fall are the best :) Chic leopard bag & wedge sneaks!

    It's interesting, we don't have anything that big here when the seasons change. Although we do get jacaranda trees bloom in the spring, we don't have the big autumn colour change.
