Is it summer? It sure felt like summer 2 days ago! I was being a smart girl and checked the weather. So when the rare sun was shinning I decided to do two outfit pictures in one day so I will have something to post today (when it's back to our regular spring gray and wet weather).
We were at the downtown Portland Pioneer Square enjoying our afternoon walk together in the city!
I was being rather "bohemian" (my first attempt anyway).

Shoes are Birkenstock (had to return them afterwards because the thonb rubbed really badly on my toes)

We are going out of town on Sunday for a short day trip on Sunday, I can't wait :)

A walk in the City

I woke up with "too much" sunshine in my eyes. Yes, too much sunshine haha. I started the day off wearing this outfit you see below but as noon approached, I had to go home to change because of the increasing temperature (which you will see in the next blog post!)
This long T is adorable! It has one of my favourite childhood characters on it, Miss Olive from Popeye! I paired it with legging that come with a puffy ballerina skirt. I hope I don't look like a grown woman trying to look like a 5 year old haha.

I finally feel like I got enough sleep last night! I decided to try out my newly acquired red jeans and Tod inspired animal hair loafer without socks out haha. This is the first time in 6 months I stepped outside in Portland without socks! We found this huge cherry bloosom tree in a nearby school!

Colourful strips

Apology up front for my very tired and jetlagged face. I just traveled through one of the worst airports in the world LAX and one of the WORST (if not the worst) airline United Air yesterday. I was fortunate I did not miss my connection flight but I was having a near heartattack and running like a mad person at the airport yesterday.
Anyway, now I have finally arrived safely, I couldn't wait to pull out this colourful strip shirt with this new cool knit vest to wear! Colours just make me happy :)
Thanks for my wonderful mum who gathered this top assemble for me!

Late afternoon stroll

Took a nice late afternoon stroll with family. I "borrowed" this yellow shimmer dress from mum. It has a puffy skirt so certain angles are not the most flattering views of myself haha.
I am still carrying my beloved red Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Clutch. Next blog post should be in a week when I travel back to Portland. I have had a great time here with family in Brisbane, I will be back in a few months, I hope :)

Ikea Fun

This is one of the pictures that got left out from the last blog post at a Turkish restaurant when we had our family dinner. I ordered a pineapple drink and frankly it looked better than it tasted :p
