Summer like day

We had an unexpected warm day today. Lucky me, it was my day off too. Off we went to downtown Jamison Square Park where there are water features to entertain all the sun bathers (aka kids in bikinis or nearly naked haha). I want to show you my newest addition to my ever growing tight collection......Miss Tweedybird. Growing up in New Zealand, I gained my nickname Tweedy as this cutie little bird grew a special place in my heart. My brother and his girlfriend recently went to Japan and got me this little gift.

Mid spring fur

It's late April and while I am more than happy to pull out this new coat but I bought it with the intention to not wearing it until October. Oh well, rather be warm than cold right? We had a chance to briefly walked around the Portland Art Museum today. Normally I much prefer visiting a natural history musemums but it is a nice change to appreciate some of the scultpures and artworks outdoor.
I hope your side of the weather is doing so much better than my side. Enjoy the last several days of April, time is flying by so far for me!

Like a lady

Like one of my Instagram followers said, this is a very un-me kind of a look. If you catch me in any given day, I'd be in jeans and a cotton long T with booties or comfy flats. My mother has gotten me this fabulous dress this time when I went to visit my parents. My mother knows me well, I like my cloths to be simple. This dress is stretchy and has a natrual puff factor on the bottom. It is literarly wrinkle-resistent and in the best black and white colour combo! Thanks mum! She does know her daughter well :)

Spring fever

Happy Tuesday my lovelies! I am officially back home and can start showing you some of the new cloths I have acquired during the three weeks while I was away! One of the best things about "escaping" Portland during end of March/begining of April is I have avoided the worst allergy period. Yay for me.
For those of you who do not know, I went away to visit my family (parents) overseas. I had a chance to visit the local Zara (in Taipei) and found these almost floral pants. I have wanted to try floral pants but given my atheletic thighs, I really did not love the way they lookd on me. Luckily these pants have the right colour and somehow made me feel more comfortable wearing them out :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week!

Trolling around

I want to show you what is considered my "comfy outfit of the day". My favourite old knit/faux fur vest with comfy lone sleeved T and this bright cheery giraffe skirt mum got me for my birthday several years ago. Cherry bloosm is starting to bloom everywhere here in Portland. Temperature is still very cold but it is defintely spring. I look forward to the days I can start wearing sandals again. My toes are in desperate need for some sunshine and air lol.
I promise I will change bag soon but you will have to still deal with my Antigona bag, ok? :)

My everyday go to earrings are simple studs. My most favourite prized posession is my diamond studs given by my lovely man and you often see me wearing them (not that they are giant size you can see them clearly in pictures haha). Last month when I visited Seattle again I came across these beautiful ear ornaments on a sale's girl at Club Monaco, even better, they are on sale from $79 (over-priced for sure) down to $29. Sold! Best thing about them besides making me want to swing around, they are not at all heavy!

Natural face day

It's raining and it's my day off today. Instead of all glam up I decided I was too tired to do anything fancy to myself. I threw on the first two things that I saw in my closet and off I went out the door to spend a lazy morning in the shopping center. No make up no sunnies (indoor) as I present to you my everyday "face"/look lol. Yes the flourence lighting is not the most flattering light on anyone's face but I just want to show you this is what I look like on any given day if you run into me on the street.
