Back to school, can you smell fall?

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a blessed weekend. I will not write too much today as I am suffering from a major migraine (stupid PMS) and at work (fun). But I would like to show you what I did over the weekend which was a visit to the local university (Portland State University). We had a nice walk on campus which reminded me of my own university all the way back down in Auckland, New Zealand! I am really missing it a lot. What do you remember about your university years? My fondest memories include going to the canteen with friends, studying in the central library and simply strolling around the Auckland Domain near by and enjoying all the greenery.
I hope my migraine would start to settle down already as I have a full day ahead of me! Let me know what you did this past weekend! Cheers :)

Feeling girly with an asymmetrical dress

Every time I wear this dress, it makes me want to swirl (one of the posts about this dress here). Tell me I am not the only one who has done it.....I would check out how the skirt flows when I walk pass by a window. Yes, I am shameless to say that I check myself out (or rather, my clothes out...) occasionally all the time. But honestly, I love this dress. It is so comfortable, has elastic waistband (my best friend when pigging out on the Italian lunch today haha) and so much fun to walk around with.
It's when I am editing the photographs I realised I matched my sandals with the colour of the dress. Oh, let's just say I am really into everything nude/peach these days. I hope you are enjoying the last few weeks of summer (sad sad). I booked a zip lining adventure at the end of the month so I am really excited about that (it would be my first time). Tell me about your late summer adventure. I would love to hear all about them :)

Fuchsia, denim with Balenciaga

I want to show you what I normally wear on my day off. Denim is such an unique fabric, don't you think? You can go super casual or quite professional, it all depends on how you would style it. This denim skirt is however more on the casual side so I reserve to only wear it on my off days. I have also been living in skirts and dresses this summer because, but why wouldn't you? They are the most comfortable choices during warm weather.
I have also recently fallen in love with bright lip colours. I am not a make-up type of girl and the most I would wear is tinted lip balm. But after watching Alison Anderson's YouTube (her blog here) on the Revlon Matte Balms review, I decided to pick up two and try them myself. I bought Audacious (bright orange) and Unapologetic (matted coral pink, this is what I am wearing here). Alison bought a lot more colours and you can watch her video review here. I am glad I have finally got on the lippy wagon! Experimenting with different colours and formula have really been fun. I hope to share with you more of other lip products I will be trying out. Please share your experience with me as well (links if you have a YouTube and/or blog site).
