Sunset hill
I was so busy over the weekend participating in a sport tournament and had no time for any blog pictures! It's been mostly dry and "less cold" today so we took some quick shots after work right by the nearby neighbourhood! The unique hilly street really caught our eyes! Cherry blossoming
After days of crazy weather, Portland decided today is probably a good day to let us enjoy some well deserved vitamin D! These are the cherry blossom trees right behind my office! I have got to take advantages of them, right?

New hair and a cupcake
I finally did it! I finally got to have my hair coloured and a much needed trim! DH forgot to bring the camera to the hair salon so we only took a quick snapshot of the after product. We went to New Season market to have our favourite red velvet cupcake! It was absolutely delicous!!
Sorry for the lack of post. Weather has finally turned better so I am looking forward to more blog worthy pictures tomorrow! Until then, thanks for reading :)

Hail in March
It's late March, can you believe it? We have been having crazy weather here today. Started off cloudy, turned into sloushy rain, then sunshine and now it's hailing haha. I think the weather is seriously confused and couldn't decide what to do with us Portland.
Anyway, I pulled out my patent leather boots I bought a few years ago because of the wetness. Is patent still in? I don't even care haha, I just want to be able to wear my old stuff again :p
This jean coat with faux fur trim is "vintage". Well, I have had it for at least 8-9 years now. I am trying to "shop" in my own closet these days so I am just recycling old stuff and try to pair them differently!

Dreaming of warmer weather

Rebecca Minkoff red hot beauty
Some of you may already know that I am a Rebecca Minkoff handbag fan. I have been loving her design for 3+ years now. Many bags came and left (because either the style or the colours did not work out for me) but I always have a place in my heart for RM!
Now, some of you may think this is very Chanel inspired. Trust me, I had a Chanel and it just didn't work for me. The style is somewhat boxy and I was afraid using it because it felt so dressy and too expensive to just carrying it out. Eventually I let it go. When I saw RM came out with the Affair style, I was so happy! With several leather and hardware colours to choose from, it'd be awesome if I could find one in the combo I love.
Most Affairs were made in the regular/medium size. I saw a large size Affair when I was up in Seattle last year and thought the size would work perfectly for me since I like medium to larger size bag anyway. Unfortunately the colour they had was not enough for me to pull the trigger, so I waited.
I stumbled upon this beautiful blood red Affair with my favourite rose gold HW yesterday. She was just sitting on the shelf, alone, and I was so happy to bring her home! (I previewed some of her pictures on my Instagram yesterday already).
Onto the pictures (sorry, all pictures were taken somewhat indoor since the weather became "normal" here again, raining and cold)

First real day of spring
It's finally sunny today, finally! The sun is shinning, birds are singing and the sky is blue (ok ok I am over doing it lol). It's still too cold to wear really springy cloths though so I decided to put on some colours!
We walked around Lovejoy street in Portland. There are so many cool buildings and spots, perfect for pictures. I will be back again real soon.
