Moto jacket take two

For those of you who do not know me from The Purse Forum Balencaiga thread, I own two Baleniaga motorcycle jackets. A 2010 Havana (reddish brown) and a 2011 Black. I got the former one directly from the Balenciaga boutique at South Coast Plaza (nice SA Steve, email me if you need his information) picked out the most beautiful leahter for me, and the later one from the lovey Erica of Hgbagsonline (2012 black here).
I practically live in these two moto jackets during the colder weather here when it's dry. They are by far my biggest investmenst I have made in jackets but they are worth every cent in my opinon!

I am weaving my black moto jacket with an over-sizde plaid shirt (Levi's), 7 for All Mankind coated jeans (here), Vince Camuto boots (here) and Rebecca Minkoff leopard Covet (simialr here). Do you have a leather jacket for the winter?

Animal themed

Sorry for the lack of post this week. Two reasons, weather has been crappy and I have been too busy at work. (sigh)
No fears, here is a quick post to start off everyone's weeked! It seems so strange what I am wearing here is completely winter appropriate compare to my last few posts which were very early autumn-like. Sometimes I feel like autumn here in Portland is a mere 2 week long parade, a tease.
I am not huge on animal themed accessories. While I enjoy looking at others rocking theirs, I am carrying this leopard bag and grass green zebra top to finish off my Friday look. How do you add animal prints into your look?

Golden leaves

I just want to drop a quick hello. On the way to work this morning, I could not but had to stop and snap some quick pictures of these beautiful golden leaves! Luckily for us, most of the leaves fell down a few hours later but we were able to capture these these before they disappeared! The changing colours of autumn is meserisingly beautiful!

I highly recommend these coated denim jeans. They are like second skin with the perfect amount of stretch! :)

 

 

Casual is the new black

I did not expect the weather took a turn on me today. While it looked nice and sunny outside, as soon as we started shooting, it took a left turn and became windy and rainy. What's my luck?
After a few days of wearing nothing but black and other dark colours, I decided to wear this denim trench one more time before it gets too cold for it. I first wrote about this jacket here (wearing the same socks haha). Should I wear these witch-like high socks now even though Holloween is still a couple of weeks away? :)

Skyfall

I downloaded Skyfall by Adele for the newest 007 James Bond movie last night and could not stop listening to it. I was never a 007 fan until Mr. Daniel Craig came into the scene. There is something about this guy that really makes him completely different from the other Bonds before (no offense to those who loved the previous ones). I like his edgy, butt kicking and bad ass image. There is a roughness to him and I just became alot more interested in the movie series than when I was younger :)

Decided to do a series of wide-angle photos with the cloudy grey sky in the background. Defintely going to watch Skyfall when it comes out next month :)

Bergundy and pink

Happy Friday everybody! I put away all of my summer/spring cloths into my sotrage boxes and busted out thicker and darker cloths. It was a bit of bitterness, storing all the colours away. However, on the brighter note, I am excited to pull out all of my scarves.
I want to show you that you can wear all dark colours with a punch of "summer", in today's post, my Minkoff.

I am never a pump girl. I currently own this one old pair from A.So. It's so hard for me to find pumps that fit my feet (with long toes). Can you recommend me with a "starting brand" that is comfortable?

Look what I got

In the past couple of weeks, I began making a fashion wishlist for autumn. I tend to invest in handbags more than shoes. I am very clumsy and am bumping into things on a daily basis. That being said, I rarely allow myself to spend more than $200 on a pair of shoes.
When I first saw these Vince Camuto booties, it was love at first sight. I struggled with the idea they cost just under my maximum budget. Finally I went in to try them !on in person. Sold!! They are so edgy, goes with everything (skirt, jeans you name it) and so ME!
On the side note, my handbag "soulmate" (hello Amanda) and we both bought our very first Mulberry Alexa from the lovely Erica of HgBags. Nothing fancy about these pictures. I am just happy to own these two lovelies to begin my fall :)

Colours of the autumn sun

When you are wearing an otherwise all gray/black/dark colour outfit, it is probably a good idea to find a colourful surrounding or background so you do not get swollowed by the gray! One thing I find about the sun in autumn is that it seems less harsh, it's gentle and it feels like a soft blanket hugging you :)

I am experiencing some unpleasant buying/selling experience on the online second market place. I am sure some of you share similar stories. I hope it gets resolved soon! Send your good thoughts for me! :)

Lamps evening

After an afternoon inside a work-related conference, we decided that we needed some air of being outside and enjoy the last lingering warm of the vaninshing summer :)
Sorry to jump outifts from "autumn" to somewhat "summer like" again. I probably really am confusing everyone including myself haha. I will always wear pink, warm or cold temperature! Any pink lovers out there?
One positive note, several women complimented my handbag at the conference. I guess they were not paying attenting either :p
