Versatility of a denim jacket

I can never have enough denim jackets. Frankly speaking, I have not bought too many for myself. Two of them were given by my mother, and they are really old. And then there are some other denim-ish shirts that are somewhat over-sized and light washed. This past weekend, I got a 25% off coupon for H&M's back to school promotion. I was determined to use it on something. So guess what I bought? A denim jacket!

I like to cuff the sleeves to show off the accessories plus it allows me to move more freely (ok, I just don't have super long arms). The cut is on the close fit side but not too tight or too cropped. I am able to botton it all the way up but since it is still somewhat warm, I much prefer to just let it unbuttoned and pair it with a light floral summer dress underneath.

Denim jacket H&M (under $30), wedged sneakers by Ash (love the glittered version here), Balenciaga Anthracite City bag
My first Henri Bendel bow earrings (similar ones here)

This reminds me that I don't own any denim jacket... I used to have a Levi's one but I gave it away (regrets)

I think that a mixed material jacket would look good on you. Leather/denim combination would match your style.

I guess I'm the only one who is not a big fan of jeans jackets. But yours looks nice, really nice blue.
Love your earrings!

Love the denim jacket with the printed dress, it goes so well! Denim jackets tend to look great with everything. I have one I almost wore to death after I scored it reduced to $20 in a sale, but it hasn't been getting a lot of love the past few years. In fact I wonder if I still have it, I should look it out!
