Colour blocking Sunday

I am not the person who is shy about wearing colours. Being more on the pale side, I am more drawn towards warm hues like reds, pinks, oranges and yellows. I also find it relatively easy for me to pair the above colours together. When I choose my outfit in the morning, I tend to start with one piece I want to focus on, and build everything else around it. Today it is all about this skort I scored recently. Skort was in when I was little. I thought it was the coolest thing! Being a little overly active, skort offered the best of both worlds. The look of a skirt (so yes, I am still girly) with the convenience of a pair of shorts (so I could run around wildly like a boy).
I also want to tell you that I had a few strands of highlights put into the top of my head. Having dark hair it is hard to tell from these pictures but I can assure you they are there (perhaps in the right lighting next time). I have became very comfortable sporting this "ombre hair" trend and really have no intention of changing it anytime soon. What is your new summer hair?
