Pumpkin colour

You know it's autumn when the sun is setting a bit earlier than you remembered. You know it's autumn when the cool crisp air makes you shiver just a little bit in the early morning and late afternoon.
I unexpectedly paired these DV by Dolce Vita pumpkin coloured booties (different version here) with my orange brule Balenciaga City (code fashionista is good for $100 off here on ALL Balenciaga bags with free shipping until first of Oct).
I am in the market for some new boots AND booties. What shoe wishlist is yours like? (or have you started your shoe shopping already?)
Check out my Amazon shoe fall pick on the right side of the blog and share your thoughts with me :)

Have a good rest of the week! I will be back this weekend for more autumn post!

First autumn post

Hey everyone I am back! I took a holiday break to be back with my family downunder! I managed to sqeeze 3 blog posts during the time I was away (almost a month), not bad, I thought to myself!  :)
Now that I have returned, so is the cooler weather! I found these shorts while I was in Australia. I am never truely comfortable showing my bare legs so I am pairing them with one of my favourite accessories, long socks :)
Growing up in Australia and New Zealand, I always loved wearing knee high socks with skirts and shorts. I have several pairs in different texture and patterns I have yet to show you!

Blazer by H&M, a bargain for $10 (old)
Shorts by Cue (Australian brand, you can see more here)
Bag by Balenciaga City in Mangue colour (mango) via HgBags

I am in love with all of the textutred jeans and studded booties out there! Time to make a shopping (or wish) list :)

Underwood Park Boardwalk

I am back at one of my favourite places in Brisbane, the Underwood Park. The park is cenetered around the lagoon that is filled with wildlife birds. I love walking around early to late afternoon. The place is so sirene and you can really relax and absorb nature!
I was here not long again (see here) during end of the summer. The lagoon is just as nice in the early spring!

This Geaty puffy sleeved zippered dress is a pressie from my dear mum. She knows that I have been loving dressess lately and bought this for me to surprise me this time :)
Everything else I am wearing is plain and simple as all I wanted to do is to showcase this dress (it's very comfy too!)

My usual Rebecca Minkoff red Morning After Clutch (best pop of colour)
Judith Ripka simulated diamond studs (you can get them here)
Lindberg sunnies and Omega watch

I have to go back to work really soon. Next time I will be posting with my usual photographer man as I say goodbye to my brother :(
I hope you have enjoyed my Brisbane pictures!

Brisbane Roma Park

I have to apologise for my lack of posting this past week. As you saw from my previous post, I am currently in Brisbane Australia visiting family. Besides getting over the sight jetlag, there has been so much stuff to catch up with everyone that left me very little time for blogging.
When I am in Brisbane, my photographer man immediately becomes my brother. Could you spot any difference(s)?  I am hoping the harsh Australian sun does not ruine my new ombre hair haha. Slab on the Moroccain oil baby!

Bag by Rebecca Minkoff Red Morning After Mini (others here)
Watch by Omega (old gift from dad)
Excuse for my VERY tired face/eyes
Straw hat by H&M

I have a few new outfits I am dying to show you. Stay tuned!
(Is everyone enjoying all the NY fashion week blogger posts?)

Ombre in the sun

I did it!!! Almost a year ago, I began imagine what it'd be like to get on the tredn wagon of this "ombre hair" (I blogged about it here). My biggest inspiration comes from Song of Style. Most of you would know who she is. Besides her insanely long lean legs, my next most favourite part of her is her gorgeous locks!
It took me a year to grow out my highlights which I regret so much after having it done last summer. I found a new hair stylist (Nicole) who has been awesomely helpful to slowly remove my highlights and letting my natural drak brown hair grew out slowly. Finally yesterday I got the "permission" to proceed with this whole ombre dyeing process. It took 3 hours to complete but I could not be more pleased!

Rebecca Minkoff plum Morning After bag (summer sale here)
Simple Levi's cotton T
Old black lace skirt
New Deb Guyot bubble ring (on sale, more colours here)
Photographer man and I's early evening shadows :)
Right now I am in LA enroute to go back to Australia. Next time I will be blogging from Brisbane! Cheers :)
