Low key

Today is one of those "I don't know what I am wearing and I just want to be comfortable" day. It took me 5 minutes to dress because I grabbed what's closest to me in my closet. Waking up with a slight headache did not help my selection of clothing either but thankfully I can always hide behind my sunglasses :d
Do you have one of these days? Please share with me how you deal with it when your brain stopped functioning. What is your "go-to" outfit?
p.s Have you checked out my Instagram videos? I have loaded two so far. Check here or look at the right handside of the page and click on the one you want to watch. Let me know what you would like to see next :)

Puffer-shoulder shimmer jacket (last seen here), chiffon skirt, Sam Edelman Gable sandals (on sale here), Balenciaga Orange Brule City (Hgbags), Lindberg sunnies and Tissot watch. Accessories are from HSN.

Thank you for reading. I am starting to pack for my upcoming tournament trip in Vegas. With the souring temperature being reported there, I may have to bring extra T's just in case ;)

Red on red

I have mentioned it several times before, I have a thing for the colour red! When it comes to clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories, I always end up choosing something with a warm tone. So, please put on some sunnies if you have to, because my red cardigan and my red bag may just cause slight light sensitivity to your eyes :D

p.s. I just realized that I wore this exact same top and bag combo in another recent post of my (here). My brain is definitely on auto-pilot these days....

White Casio Baby-G watch (this one), large Affair Rebecca Minkoff bag, ASo sandals, Lindberg sunnies and the rest of the outfit is from overseas including these puffy pants :)
Do you like my re-ombered hair? I had a trim also, about 3cm, not too much at all.
Back to normal colour ;)
Enjoy the weekend guys! One more week until my big tournament (US Table Tennis Open in Las Vegas), I am getting nervous!

I love neon yellow

You all remember when neon yellow first popped into the scene last summer? All things neon, cloths, shoes and accessories. I normally dress fairly conservatively so all I bought neon last year were some work out bras and underwear (of all things....I know...). For those of you who have seen my Instagram reveal already know I bought something neon yellow this year. A neon yellow T from no others than American Eagle! It is one of the most comfortable cotton T shirts I own and I love it! I am glad this neon trend is still "in" as I am just starting to feel comfortable wearing them :)
p.s. I am getting my hair trimmed tomorrow. Hopefully it will look less messy at the end!

AE "favourite T"  (in neon lemon), Iroo skirt, Born sandals (last season but love this pair), Givenchy small Antigona bag, YSL Arty ring and Lindberg sunnies.

Thank you very much for reading! I hope your summer is going well!

Denim vest with floral pants

The weather took a drastic turn today. It literarily skips summer and goes straight to autumn. I was a bit sad not be able to wear my summer cloths including this pretty denim vest find I scored from Forever 21 a few days ago. But then, I thought, hey, who says I have to wear summer cloths underneath it while I can pair it with my other long sleeved tops? Well, here it is. I hope you like this look. In addition, these floral pants were bought at the same time as this pair (see post here) just in different colour theme.
Have a happy weekend everyone! Anyone barbecuing? I sure miss it!

Denim vest (similar F21), floral pants are no name Korean brand, DV by Dolce Vita booties and Balenciaga City bag in colour Mangue (mango) from HgBags.
Earrings are Ippolita (really love these)
A lot of you have asked me about my owl charms. They are by Borsalini, a Taiwanese leather company (I own two)!

Ombre shorts

After my last post, I was determined to start searching for better looking denim shorts that fit my body. This is one of the two I recently acquired. Believe it or not, I found them at the junior department at Nordstrom. Love the ombre colouring and the studs in the front. They appropriately cut my least confident part of my body (aka the thighs) into two sections to give the illusion of smaller thighs ;)
Funny thing I discovered this weekend, I own way too many pink tops. I won't tell you the exact number but there are more than ten of them.....time to venture out into some other colours........
p.s. follow me on my Instagram (kiwifashionblog) to find out what other things I have been shopping for summer!

T2R knit top, Jolt omber jean shorts, Sam Edelman Gable (on sale here), Rebecca Minkoff MAC (made in NYC here), bracelets from Etsy and necklace came with the top.
Hope your week is going well! I love summer ;)

Summer short shorts

I have never been confident to show off my upper legs, more specifically, my thighs. Having always been involved in sports since I was young (dancing, taekwondo and now competitive table-tennis), I am never the one with skinny lean legs. These shorts are not the "ideal" cut and colour for me in my opinion but I already found a much better pair today (which you will see in my future blog post soon)! Anyways, let's just say these are my test run shorts until you see my reveal!
By the way, this is another way to wear my recently acquired wedge sneakers by Ash (first worn them here, run 1 size bigger, size down). I love them and am finding them so comfortable and versatile! (get there here). Old cotton T-shirt and Levi's jean shorts with Rebecca Minkoff MAM bag in plum.

Celebrate for summer

One of my favourite accessories during the warmer season is straw hat. I currently only own two but I do plan on adding as we head deeper into the season. For someone like myself who is almost always barefaced (lip gloss is the only make-up I wear), sunglasses and hats have became my best friends when it comes to wanting to look more polished and complete. I am going for a nautical theme today, red, blue and black, I can never get tired of wearing them.
I will be very busy this summer participating in several big tournaments but I will still keep my blog running with all the fun summer pieces throughout. Tell me, what will you be doing this summer? Or winter for the southern hemisphere-ers? :)
