We spent our last day of the three day weekend in San Fransisco by visiting University of Stanford. This school has some beautiful architecture and is a popular weekend hotspot for locals and visitors like us. I especiay love the columns and catholic church on campus. I wish I could have worn a gown pretending I am the owner of a castel in Europe! We had a lovely time here in SF, defintely will want to come back again soon!

We spent the long weekend (Sat through Mon) in San Fransisco. This is not the first time we have been there but this is defintely the first time I was prepared (somewhat) for some blog pictures. Fortunately (and unfortunately) it's the US public holiday weekend and the crowd was insane. It took us almost 20 min circling around just to find parking space. Unexpected, the weather was very chilly for the cloths I had packed so I had to leave these jeans on underneath my sheer dress which you have already seen me wearing here.
I have to apologise for my "frozen" face. Adding the wind chill effect temperature was at times like a freezer! I was left with running nose and a slight headache (from the wind). I hope I did not catch a cold there :(
If you visit SF, you have to visit this amazingly beautiful place! The architecture is so pretty! Visit Exploratorium in San Fransisco!

As we were heading to our rare Friday night dinner "date", it started to pour adding lightening and thunder to the mix. Right in between the clouds we spotted a small rainbow!! Had to stop to take pictures, right? Sorry these pictures are not as nearly as "blog worthy" since we were dodging the rain and had to snap rather quickly lol.
By the way this is a scheduled post. We are spending the weekend in San Fransisco and I am looking forward to bring back some different looking blog photos, wish me luck :)

Have a great weekend everyone! I will be back in a few days!
Do not worry, I did not go and get myself a permanent perm in my hair! I had my bi-monthly coulour touch-up and a trim this afternoon and my sweet stylish Nicole and I both agreed we were tired of seeing me in flat straight hair. What to do without committing to a permanent change? Her trusty curly iron of course.
I am challenged in the hands dexterity department so I'd never own one myself (plus I'd probably burn myself) but I will admit it's so fun letting her do it for me!
Do we like??
Stripped long T with this tutu skirt legging made this Wed outfit extremely comfy! Don't blame me for being comfy! I had to sit for my hair appointment for 2 hours and it's my day off :p
Bag is Balenciaga Orange Brule City
Rest of the outfit from my sweet and stylish mum
p.s. I am heading to San Francisco for the coming long weekend. I am so excited to bring back new and hopefully very different looking blog pictures to show you!
Living in this city sometimes the temperature fluctuation is so drastic makes one ponder how should she dress everyday (that would be me lol).
After a week of lovely summer-like sunshine, it's back to the cool, cloudy rainy day. I am not complaining. I mean to keep everything so green and growing, we need the rain, yes we do!
Wanted to showcase this spring coat with a black rose pin! I hardly get a chance to wear it since it's too cold in the winter and too warm for the summer. I love the puffy sleeves and the A line bottom. It makes me look like a painter, no?

p.s. I need to find myself some unique and beautiful rings to wear (not expensive), any suggestions for skinny finger (size 5 or smaller)?
If you have not been living under a rock, you probably alreadt know that floral (among other things like neon and lace) is all the rage this season. I know certain trend only certain body type can pull it off (like lace). I always try to stay away from something really trendy because of the fear that it will not last and it will not suite my curvey self.Ok, I can not do flora pants, that is a given, but I can do a floral dress, right?

Goofing arod with the statue....yes, I did want his hat (kind of...)
Ok continue from the previous post, this is the second sheer dress. It's made by the same company (acquired from overseas). The dress itself is defintely shorter and "cuter" than the previous one. I just love the bow-tie in the back! Too bad I always leave my hair down so it's hard to see!

Warm temperature is fading fast here. Looks like you wil be seeing me in long sleeve again next time (dislike)
Here is one of the pleated sheer dresses I acquired recently. I have been waiting for the right weather to wear them. I added a knit top to it since I am not all that confident showing off my arms (I am an athlet...hence...muscle) but I think it's a nice touch to the entire dress, no? I also found this BEAUTIFUL plum Rebecca Minkoff Morning After Mini bag from my local Nordstorm Rack a week ago. I have been in love with all my RM bags. She's made some lovely red/purple bags this season! The rose gold is insanely gorgeous too!
Dress and knit top both from Bear 2
Shoes Ivanka Trump from Endless (best source for shoes)
Bag Rebecca Minkoff plum MAM
One more sheer dress to show you soon! Stay tuned!
I know, I looked a bit too "red". I mean, who dresses head to toe (in my case, shoes) in mostly red hues, right? If you have been kind of reading my blog entries, you already know that I love red(s). Right now I own 4 bags that are in the red family haha. And I often caught myself checking out for MORE red...a bit of insanity I know.
Anyway, we are expecting summer like weather this weekend! I already know what I want to wear (sheer pleated asymmetrical dress in peachy nude!) YES!
In the meantime, here are my (worn them more than 10 times) red jeans that I am sure you are already sick of looking at!!

Right before these pictures were taken, I spent a hour sitting in the dentist's chair getting my cavity filled. My left side of the mouth and part of my cheek is completely numb so sorry about the "no smiling" face.
I did an early post titled the Forgotten Trailhere. I was wearing the exact same skirt! (purely coincidence though)
I am really into all things red and orange colours! I am trying out wearing booties with bare legs (skirts) these days. These DV booties are breaking in nicely! I absolutely love them. No regret on getting them in two colours! (taupe and orange)
I can't wait for the weekend to come. Temperature will be alot like summer. I really want to show you my newly acquired sheer dresses!
