Happy Lunar New Year

For those of you who celebrated the Lunar New Year, my belated greeting :) All of my family lives aboard so it was just a rather normal weekend for me. I had to sit in a classroom all day on Saturday so we decided to relax and went to our favourite Italian resturant for lunch on Sunday. I came upon this cute loft who had red laterns hung up on their front door! Adorable!
Traditionally you have to wear red during the Lunar New Year. I did not want to hurt your eyes wearing red so I took out my favourite red Rebecca Minkoff bag and my comfy DV by Dolce Vita booties in bright orange. I wish I was back home with family and eating all of the yummy food but it's ok knowing that they still had fun on their own :)

Vintage faux fur vest from mum, faux leather skort by Bear 2 (last seen here), Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag and DV by Dolce Vita booties. Turtle pendent by Juicy Couture and stacked flower rings by Stella & Dot (closer view on kiwifashionblog Instagram here)
Lastly, a pop of the New Year vibe for you! Have a great week beauties!

I celebrated the lunar year last year by travelling to China. It was a very interesting experience. Red is such a powerful colour. I currently have no red items in my wardrobe, so my next purchase (whatever it shall be) will involve red!

Dear Anouka I remember seeing your post about that! I think the easier piece to start would be a red scarf ;) give it a try!
