I love skirts and I can't lie

Hello everyone, hope you all had a good Easter weekend for those of you who celebrated it. Growing up in New Zealand and Australia, we always had long Easter weekend break at school and work. It usually begin on Good Friday and runs through Monday. It is a great time to have some days off as it usually is in between terms in school. This is one of the things I miss since moving to America. Ok enough complaining! One thing I can not complain is the gradually warming weather. I kid you not, I am probably the only one in this entire downtown area who is wearing a coat and tight. Be patient, my legs will eventually show themselves! I am always on the colder side. I blame my slow metabolism!

Since I do not own any pastel colours to wear for Easter, I thought I would pile on a bunch of yellows and show you my newest skirt purchase from Shopbop. I truly love this skirt as it hits me right above the knee to conceal what needs to be conceal and the colours can be easily worked into what I already wear normally! Gotta love Shopbop! Fast delivery, beautiful packaging and quality merchandise (no, it is not a sponsored post, ha I wish)!

Thank you so much for being understanding and patient as I work through this phase of "blog creativity challenge". And as always thanks for reading :)

that skirt is beautiful on you!

And I share your love for shopbop too - it can be terrible on my wallet every time they have a sale, haha!

Don't you get any days off for Easter in America? That's a shame! Our long weekend was nice and relaxing, just what I needed as I'm finding it harder and harder to focus at work. Wish I could nap in the middle of the day, haha!

Oh that would be so awesome if they did sponsor it! I love Shopbop too. It's just too easy to shop with them, even though they're a little dearer than a few others they're still my default, go-to for online shopping. BTW I had no idea Americans don't have the long weekend off! Damn! Then again, every time I check my FB they're celebrating some holiday anyway so I guess it works out LOL!
